I have a 360 and love the games for it. Just a shame it's garbage brickware.
Hoarding notes (even at the lame rates you can get in a typical bank CD or interest-bearing acct.) when the dollar is losing value so rapidly makes little sense.

M$ is finally gettng some heat for this. This is a HUGE deal imo and can't believe more of an uproar has been made so far.
This kind of crap isn't going to woo the cunsumer into being all Gung-Ho for M$'s Digital Distribution schemes in the future... Why should we need 'softs say-so in order to enjoy content we already "OWN"???

I'm fairly certain ALL the blockbuster 360 games will be released on PC. In fact it's pretty obvious this is the case... so I'm done with faulty crap hardware. I'd much rather build a new gaming PC. The only console worth buying (imo) now is a PS3... It has titles that are truely exclusive.
Microsoft dropped the ball big-time with the xbox division. I still only own xboxes, but this 360...

I think next round I might sit out consoles all-together and just build a new gaming rig. Since I'm an xbox owner I know I'll eventually see all good xbox titles on PC. "Exclusives" are nothing more than TIMED exclusives anymore. I won't die if I have to wait a while to play the latest and greatest (for 10bux cheaper, more content, free online play and mods LOL).

I agree the PS3 is very flexible and less prohibitive than my 360. Being reliable and less prone to bricking is a huge bonus too. My only problem with the PS3 is WHERE ARE THE FREAKING GAMES??!!! Especially exclusives which showcase the long rumored awesome might of the PS3? (i.e I want 1080p native locked at 60fps). Time for the PS3 to put-up or shut-up with regards to it's capability as a "true HD next-gen machine".

You fuking droids make me laugh at your console inferiority complex. Seeing as how Sony makes TONS of video consumer electronics it's not like they don't know how to set the factory defaults. Any comparisons aside from the defaults are moot and subjective, hence not worth posting as comparisons.... understand dolts?

They'll finally be pushing the multi cores with the physics and behavior calcs instead of canned animations. Hopefully they manage to keep the GPU from bogging down rendering this stuff too...
I'll be impressed if they can pull this off at 30fps and have environments that aren't the size of an airplane bathroom, or full of invisible walls.
